Coffee + Flowers

Hello lovelies,

It’s another Foodie Fridayyyyyy!

I recently went to check out Communal Coffee in North Park. Let me just say, this is the cutest and most aesthetically pleasing shop I have ever been in. The vibe is truly wonderful.

There are so many places that are perfect for photo ops! I totally felt like I was walking through a Pinterest board, ya know, if that were actually possible. The ‘Coffee + Flowers’ mural outside on the wall is adorable and actually pretty famous!

I arrived near closing time but the staff was so welcoming and so fun! I took a few minutes to explore around the shop. What is cool about Communal Coffee is that it’s also a flower shop, Native Poppy! The flower arrangements and bouquets were absolutely gorgeous.

As for the coffee, I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte because duh, ’tis the season! This coffee is not Starbucks, it is the real deal. It was quite strong, more so than I am use to having from Starbucks. However, I actually enjoyed the change! It perked me up almost immediately.

I also ordered the pumpkin bread and it was thebomb.com. I actually dipped it into the coffee and I 10/10 recommend this to all of the Earth’s inhabitants.

I really cannot wait to go back! The atmosphere is so interesting. Native Poppy has a nursery outside that is open during the day. By the time we left it was completely dark so we weren’t able to see it, but I did spot this adorable letter board with a fabulous quote!

I cannot wait to go back to this perfect coffee spot!

Definitely check out Communal Coffee in North Park located at 2335 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92104.

xoxo, Syd
